The City Region Partnership
The City Region structure (pdf) has a number of internal arrangements, meetings and working groups. They are detailed below.
City Region Growth & Prosperity Board
The Growth & Prosperity Board comprises of the Leaders of the 6 Local Authorities, the Chairs of the West Midlands Regional Assembly (WMRA) Advantage West Midlands (AWM), Learning Skills Council (LSC), and a representative from the business community. The Chairman is Councillor Mike Whitby and the Vice Chairman is Councillor David Smith. Also attending is the Leader of Telford and Wrekin.
The City Region Growth & Prosperity Board meets bi-monthly.

City Region Chief Executives Steering Group
The Chief Executives Steering Group comprises of the Chief Executives of the 6 Local Authorities, WMRA, AWM, LSC, the business community, JobCentre Plus and a representative of the Higher Education sector.
A number of Chief Executives hold Portfolio Leads for the Steering Group.

City Region Stakeholder Forum
The City Region Stakeholder Forum is a wider group and includes representatives from agencies and partner organisations. It operates on an open membership basis and provides advice and comment in support of the development of City Region policy.
City Region Core Policy Officer Group
The City Region Core Policy Officer Group comprises of representatives from the 6 Local Authorities, Telford and Wrekin, WMRA, AWM, LSC, the business community, JCP, the Black Country Consortium, the Shires, Higher Education and GOWM. Their remit is to act as a consultative group, assist in the development of City Region policy and other initiatives, and to advise the Steering Group.
City Region Secretariat
To support the work of the City Region, a secretariat is in place and comprises of a small team headed by Simon Murphy, the City Region Project Director.
